Welcome to BookAnEvent.in (“BAE”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting or using any part of the BookAnEvent platform—including the websites, mobile applications, partner portals, or by transacting with BookAnEvent through telephone, email, chat, or on-ground engagement—you (“User”, “you”, “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before proceeding. If you do not accept these Terms, you must refrain from using the services.

1. Scope of Services

1.1 Plan (Event Management). Full-service planning, coordination, and execution of personal, social, corporate, or branding events carried out by BAE or its verified vendor partners.

1.2 Rent (Rental Marketplace). Short-term hire of décor, equipment, venues, and other listed items. Rental agreements may include refundable deposits and damage clauses.

1.3 Buy (E-commerce). Direct purchase of new event-related products and consumables through our online store.

1.4 Franchise & Partner Services. Separate addenda apply for BAE Café, BookAnEvent Store, and Event Manager franchisees.

1.5 Ancillary Services. Payment processing, logistics/ shipping, after-sales support, content & community features, and promotional campaigns.

2. Account Creation & Eligibility

2.1 Users must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding contracts under Indian law.

2.2 Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.

2.3 BAE reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for suspected fraud, misuse, or breach of these Terms.

3. Booking, Pricing & Payment

3.1 Instant Book / Quote Requests. Prices shown are indicative until booking is confirmed and payment (full or partial) is received.

3.2 Escrow Protection. For applicable services, user payments are held in escrow and released to vendors after service completion or rental return.

3.3 Taxes & Invoices. All charges are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive or exclusive of GST as specified on the checkout page. GST-compliant invoices are auto-generated.

3.4 Refunds. Cancellations and refunds follow the policy shown on each product/service page or booking confirmation. Processing fees and non-refundable deposits may apply.

3.5 Late Fees & Damages (Rentals). Late returns or damaged items will incur charges as detailed in the rental agreement.

4. Vendor Obligations

4.1 Vendors must hold valid licences, comply with local regulations, and meet quality standards defined by BAE.

4.2 Vendors shall honour confirmed bookings, deliver items/services as described, and obtain all necessary permits and insurance.

4.3 Vendors agree to BAE’s commission structure (if applicable) and payout timelines.

5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Users agree not to:

  a. Violate any laws or third-party rights;

  b. Upload false, offensive, or infringing content;

  c. Circumvent platform fees or make off-platform payments intended to deprive BAE of its service fee;

  d. Damage rental items beyond normal wear and tear.

5.2 Users are responsible for obtaining venue permissions, government licences, or police permissions where required for noise, crowd, or animals.

6. Intellectual Property

All content—logos, text, graphics, photos, videos, and software—remains the property of BAE or its licensors. No portion may be copied, modified, or distributed without written consent.

7. Privacy & Data Security

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. We employ SSL encryption, PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways, MFA for vendor dashboards, and other industry-standard security measures.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 BAE acts as a marketplace intermediary; the primary contract for service/rental/purchase is between the user and the vendor.

8.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, BAE will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8.3 In any event, BAE’s total aggregate liability will not exceed the fees you paid to BAE for the relevant transaction.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BAE, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, losses, or damages arising out of your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

10. Modifications to the Platform

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without notice in order to improve business operations or meet legal requirements.

11. Amendments to These Terms

BAE reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at its sole discretion. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users are advised to review this page periodically.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
