Return & Cancellation Policy

At BookAnEvent.in we strive to deliver the right products, on time and in perfect condition. Because event timelines are critical, our return rules differ from ordinary e-commerce. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


1 | Non-Returnable Categories

Perishables & Consumables (fresh flowers, cakes, edible items, helium-filled balloons, confetti cannons, etc.)Quality and safety cannot be guaranteed once dispatched.
Custom-Made or Personalised Décor (printed backdrops, name boards, monograms)Produced exclusively for the buyer; unsuitable for resale.
Used Party Supplies & Opened PacksHygiene and single-use nature prevent restocking.
Damaged or Tampered GoodsItems returned in broken, burnt, wet, or otherwise altered condition cannot be accepted.

Important: If an item reaches you already damaged, you must report it within 6 hours of delivery with clear photos/video (see Section 3).


2 | Returnable Categories & Time--Window

3 | Reporting Transit Damage or Wrong Item

Record unboxing photos/video immediately.

Email support@bookanevent.in or WhatsApp +91 75697 55529 within 6 hours.

Include order ID, brief description, and media proof.

Our team will approve replacement or refund within 24 hours if claim is valid.


4 | How Returns Are Collected

Pick-up by BAE Logistics: We schedule a courier pick-up from the original delivery address.

Drop-off: Where pick-up is unavailable, we will share the nearest warehouse address; shipping costs are reimbursed against receipt for approved returns.


5 | Refund Method & Timeline

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Net-Banking, Wallet, BNPL) in 3–7 business days after item validation.

For Cash-on-Delivery orders, refund will be made via IMPS/NEFT to the bank details you provide.

Service charges, customisation fees, and expedited-shipping charges are non-refundable.

7 | Payment-Gateway Consistency

Our return policy applies uniformly across all payment gateways (Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe, PayU, etc.). Disputes raised directly with the gateway will follow this policy before charge-back consideration.


8 | Policy Amendments

BookAnEvent reserves the right to amend this policy at any time to meet business or regulatory requirements. Updates will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
